Our eating establishments serve traditional American fare, with local foods featured on many menus. Yes, we have espresso stands. Some serve organic coffees and teas, too, along with pastries and snacks. While our grocery stores are minimal by some urban standards, most supply all the essentials and more. Look for seasonal locally grown foods and a surprising stock of organic and gourmet items. Most small communities have service stations that sell both gasoline and diesel. However, it’s a long way between fuel stops here, so plan your travels and re-fueling accordingly!
